"Freeman" is named after the immortal "Shorty Freeman" the trainer & winning showman of Doc Olena, as he was the original breeder & owner of  Freeman's dam "Miss Pearl Light". Freeman is an orphan foal from two weeks of age as his mother passed away from colic. We continued to raise him and after 5 days of hand-feeding milk supplements & mash, one of our own mares "Cromed By Big Chex" AKA Maui adopted him along with her own daughter "Shesa BeeBee Gun". He was raised by our herd of 20+ horses until Summer of 2020 so he learned to be a real horse. We will miss him as he was the best behaved & most influential horse on the ranch, he got along with everyone, humans & horses. We have several offspring that we personally use as cow, pleasure & show horses. Thanks Solfree, we will miss you!
